Bluegrass

  • Good regrowth potential
  • Winterhardiness is good
  • Good ease of establishment
  • Fair drought or flooding tolerance

Red Clover

  • Likes fertile, well-drained soils
  • Earliest legume to establish in sod
  • Usually sown with small grains
  • Fall graze/plow down
  • Disease-controlled by resistant variety

Festulolium

  • Establishes quickly
  • Produces good forage in spring
  • Combines winterhardiness with forage quality

Reed Canarygrass

  • Nearly perfect forage grass
  • Highly palatable
  • High yield potential; ability to take multiple cuttings
  • Stands up to wet/drought conditions

Ryegrass

  • Tall pasture grass
  • Easy to establish
  • Adaptable to wide variety of soils and climates
